ICEWAVE INSTRUCTIONS: 

PREPARATIONS & FAQs

• Before you apply, drink a minimum of five ounces of water

• Patience is important when using IceWave – You may need to try multiple
   locations before you find the right one for your specific pain

• Wear IceWave for no more than 12 hours per day, with a 12 hour break

• You may wear up to two sets of IceWave patches at one time


CLOCK METHOD

STEP 1 – Place a TAN patch directly on the point where you have the most pain.

STEP 2 – Now place the WHITE patch about two inches directly ABOVE the TAN patch.
          If pain has not been reduced by 80% in 10 seconds move on to the next step.

STEP 3 – Move the WHITE patch from the 12 o’clock position to the 3 o’clock position.
          If pain has not reduced by 80% in 10 seconds move on to the next step.

STEP 4 – Move the WHITE patch from the 3 o’clock position to the 6 o’clock position.
          If pain has not been reduced by 80% in 10 seconds, move on to the next step.

STEP 5 – Move the WHITE patch from the 6 o’clock position to the 9 o’clock position.
          If pain has not reduced by 80% in 10 seconds move on to the next step.

If the Clock Method does not work, try the Bracketing Method.


BRACKET METHOD

Bracket Position 1 – Place the TAN patch two finger widths to the left of the pain and place the WHITE patch two finger widths to the right of the pain.

Bracket Position 2 – Place the TAN patch directly on the pain point and place the WHITE patch on the opposite side of the body. Read examples below.

BRACKET EXAMPLES

HEADACHE: place the TAN patch on left temple and the WHITE patch on right temple

KNEE PAIN: place the TAN patch on the inside of the knee and place the WHITE patch on the outside of the knee

WHOLE BODY PAIN: place the TAN patch on the bottom of the left foot at the K1 acupoint and place the WHITE patch on the bottom of the right foot at the K1 acupoint.

FOOT CRAMP: place the TAN patch on top of the pain on top of your foot and place the WHITE patch on the bottom of your foot on the other side.

RIB PAIN: place the TAN patch on the front of your body over the rib area and place the WHITE patch on the back of your body over your rib area on your back.
